It’s the richest expression that draws from an archive of the rarest whiskies found in the Atlantic storehouse. A complex blend of single malts that have aged from seven to 21 years. Infused with vibrant character from ex-Bourbon, European oak and Oloroso sherry barrels, along with quarter casks. Every sip sends you on a journey through different eras on the island of Islay, revealing potent aromas of peat smoke and sea spray, plus hints of chocolate and spice.

A BEGINNER’S GUIDE TO LAPHROAIG
This classic flavour of our 10 Year malt whisky is the inspiration for every expression in our repertoire. It’s best known for the iconic peaty thump we’re famous for. Every sip smothers your senses with our outstanding smoky flavor, followed by hints of seaweed and a long finish with surprising sweetness. Laphroaig 10 was created over 75 years ago by the maverick Ian Hunter to bottle the very nature of Islay. To this day, many of our friends at the distillery say it’s their favorite dram because it’s the embodiment of the island we call home. Laphroaig Sherry Oak combines the unmistakable flavor of our 10 Year Old with the sweet, aromatic additions from Oloroso sherry casks. Launched in 2021, it’s the newest expression in our range and has quickly become a firm favourite among our Friends. It’s a happy marriage between rich, full bodied flavour and notes of Manuka honey, bacon and maple syrup. A sweet and smoky dram that’ll take you away to Islay.
